Oddbird Sparkling Rose
Peach and Fig Puree (50mls per glass)
Lemon Juice (20mls per glass)
Egg White (20mls per glass)
Ice (and plenty of it!)
To make the peach and fig puree you need a small saucepan and a blender. To make the cocktail you need a cocktail shaker and a strainer. Serve the cocktail in a champagne coupe or a martini glass.
What You Need to Know
This is straight from the genius behind Oddbird. It’s a little complicated, but my goodness it’s great! Complex and layered. A great way to show off your Tom Cruise 1980's cocktail shaking skills.
How You Do It
Make the peach and fig puree by simmering a peach (washed and de-stemmed) and two figs (washed and de-stemmed) in 1/3 cup of honey and 2/3 cups of water. Once the water has reduced by half blend the fruit and water together in the blender. Voila! Peach and fig puree.
Pour 50mls of the peach and fig puree into a cocktail shaker with 20mls of lemon juice and 20mls of egg white and shake, shake, shake. Add plenty of ice to the cocktail shaker and then shake again! Strain the cocktail shaker into the champagne coupe and top with Oddbird Sparkling Rosé.
