This is an amber lager, so it's not a throw back style. But neither is it super heavy. It's a bit Goldilocks. Not too heavy and not too light. It gets the balance between malt and hops just right!

Brooklyn used to be the centre of American brewing, but that had all faded into the sepia tinted past. Until, like everything in Brooklyn, it got gentrified and hipster-fied, and the Brooklyn Brewery was born. The first new brewery opened in Brooklyn since the glory days. And despite the hipster pretence, or perhaps because of it, they brew a damn fine beer!
